A quote on the phone, based on the details you give us: the lock, the vehicle, the address, what happened.
Pricing
We quote before a technician is dispatched, and confirm the price on site before any work begins. If what we find at your door is genuinely different from what was described on the phone, you hear the revised number first — and you can say no at that point. Nothing here gets done first and priced afterwards.
How pricing works
- Step 1
- Step 2
Confirmed on site before work starts, so the number you agree to is the number you agreed to.
- Step 3
If the job turns out different from the description, we stop and re-quote rather than adding to the total at the end.
- Step 4
An itemized invoice, so you can see exactly what you paid for.
Every quote is built from
What changes the number
There is no rate card because no two jobs are the same. These four things are what a locksmith asks about on the phone — the more of them you can answer, the firmer the quote.
- The lock or the vehicleMake, model and year, or the brand and type of lock.
- What happened to itA lockout, a lost key, a broken key or a damaged lock are different jobs.
- The addressWhere in the GTA the locksmith is driving to.
- The hourWhen you need someone there.
What we will never do
- Quote low on the phone and bill high at the door
- Drill first and explain afterwards
- Add a fee you did not hear on the phone
